Heaven forbid
I was at a County Zoning Meeting.
The discussion was centered on if the Zoning and Planning Director should attend the State Convention of Zoning and Planning Directors.
One member said, “I don’t want her going somewhere, learning something new and trying to bring it back here.”

I think the attitude of that P & Z member is way more widespread in both the political and business world than we care to admit. Why not change the city (or business) motto to “Status Quo is How We Do Business”.
