Our piece of the Stimulus Pie

Just for the record, I was not opposed to the idea of hundreds of billions dollars being used for infrastructure improvements. Even if we were not in the worst recession since the 1980′s I would have supported borrowing and spending on infrastructure improvements.  Infrastructure is crumbling because of decades of neglect.

I was opposed to all the other non-infrastructure stuff in the stimulus bill.

It was announced last week that Rice Lake will receive $3.5 million in Stimulus funds to rebuild our Main Street.

I do not feel guilty a piece of the pie has been cut for us.

I would even take a second serving.
